Guest brickornot Posted July 9, 2011 Report Posted July 9, 2011 In n70 i remember i could set expiration for sms - for example if user has his phone off and i set expiration for 24hours and in that time he will not turn on his phone - message will be deleted and he will not receive it. Max (and max is by default in most operators in smsc is 7 days) In android phones nor in zte blade nor in wildfire i do not have such setting.
Guest ColdEmbrace Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Why would you even want a function like that.
Guest brickornot Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 because some sms maybe important only for one day and understable inside this one day and later not and later not important so why bother others brain with not important sms which loose importance ?

In 2.2 it looks as follows. In SMS/MMS app push menu button and select setings. Within this menu you will find "SMS validity" and "MMS validity" sub option. Edited July 12, 2011 by somsiad12
Guest brickornot Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 there is no such thing as validity time
