Guest Sanddancer75 Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Hold the phone with one hand & stick a screwdriver in a power outlet with your other hand. The power boost will solve your (& everyone else's) problem. Good luck.

Guest pandy Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 You can bounce extra radio waves to your phone with a rudimentary parabolic reflector. Roll the aluminium foil into a ball (try to keep the shinier side pointing inside) and, holding it in your left hand, walk slowly towards the wireless access point until your signal improves. If you need to use your left hand too (for taking notes or whatever) you can mould the aluminium foil into a hemisphere (although this is less effective because you only have a half-sphere) and then balance it on your head.
Guest q123456 Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 found this after my post. so does it work?? try it?

Guest mcfly666 Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Best way to improve WiFi reception is to wear this...
Guest Steep Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 The foil idea can work, I've seen it done successfully on early Android tablets that had really poor wifi. Size and position is critical though.
Guest Anil k Solanki Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 I'm hitting geneva tommorow and if I find aluminium foil all over the place I know who to blame. Mushroom, I know the camera on the Blade isn't its best attribute, but if you can, for the sake of all us users, please try and grab a picture of a swiss tourist. Someone who just came back from abroad and is still wearing socks and sandals! My apologies in advance to all the genuine Swiss citizens on this forum, I am sure you guys can see the funny side. Thanks. Anil.
Guest Anil k Solanki Posted July 11, 2011 Report Posted July 11, 2011 The foil idea can work, I've seen it done successfully on early Android tablets that had really poor wifi. Size and position is critical though. there are so many other ways to improve Wi-Fi reception, that makes resorting to aluminium foil, the ravings of a kilobit nut case. Make sure the Wi-Fi network is only running one standard, in this case 802.11 g.Try different channels, 1-11 maybe a neighbour is on a similar channel?Different Wi-Fi APN's have different strength/quality radios.A different antenna on the APN. Those are just off the top of my head. Anil.
