Guest slimgrip Posted July 12, 2011 Report Posted July 12, 2011 Finally rooted & flashed my Desire last night after putting it off for months, flashed it with cyanogenmod 7 & it was pretty much easy. Just trying to get the feel for it now & work out how to get all my apps back. Tried to reinstall Titanium Backup but when i try to install from Market it tells me i already have it installed? Same with all my other apps? Any ideas? its driving me mad. Slim

Can you tell me the step by step process to wipe & clear cache & put a fresh install on? Download latest version of CyanogenMod and gapps and put on the SDcard. Power off the phone. Now power it on holding the "Volume down" button on the side. Now you should see a white background with green text on it and some skating androids on the bottom of the screen. Choose recovery from the menu using the volume up/down buttons and choosing by pressing the on/off button. In the recovery wipe data/factory reset. Flash zip from SDcard. Start with CyanogenMod and repeat with gapps.

I run MIUI myself too. Specifically MIUI-Au, works really well :)
