Problem moving/deleting icons on and around home screens with cm7

Im having a problem with long pressing and moving icons around the home screens, also after a long press there isn't the option to remove, edit and choose catalog etc.. I can access the app draw then drag and drop icons to the home screens but once there they seem to be locked, is there something in settings I can change to rectify this, Im running cm7 if this helps.

Sorted it guys, had lock desktop enabled.
