hey guys i decided to clean my blade after it got pretty dusty and lint-y , so i took the case off and disconnected the digitizer from the motherboard , i have a can of compressed air used to get dust and stuff off, i sprayed it all over the case and i think abit might have gotten on to the motherboard, after all was clean i started to put it back together, when i booted up i went to unlock my screen and it seemed to exhibit no response to my touch at all, i took the battery out and did a reboot to see if something strange had happened, when it booted up,still no touch, i left it on charge for a few hours and came back to it and there still was nothing, so i scoured here and found that other people such as Jekle have have the same thing when they disconnected their digitizers either for replacement or otherwise and haven't found a way to remedy it yet, i really dont want to go back to orange because this is my second digitizer there is no white sticker over one of the screws so im worried about what they might say.

i have taken it back apart to see whether i forgot to re-attatch the cable from digitizer to motherboard and its clipped in all the way, and i am stumped really

like i said before the reason im posting this again is becausee ive looked on here before and not found any answers

sorry to relight this post, just wondering if anyone had found a solution to this problem as I've just added myself to the list of dusters who has killed the touchscreen :(

You have frozen the connector with the dust cleaner

The others has the connector broken..

For all: Dont buy only the digitizer, you have no chance ;) Buy Fascia with digitizer, thats better for you
