The one downside I have always had with my beatiful blade was the sucky wifi reception

My wifes HTC mozart would alwayas get a much stronger signal

Then read a post by slightly crazy swisstourist alluding to this site

tried it and am frankly impressed really works

15-20 db gain from abit of foil and sticky tape

well worth the effort

Thought I'd give it a go... tested the signal strength in 4 rooms of the house, before adding the foil, during and then after removing it.

The results are as follows:

Room 1 Room 2 Room 3 Room 4

Before -40 -68 -78 -50

During -53 -81 -80 -59

After -42 -66 -81 -50

So, all I can say is that it definitely didn't work for me, in fact, it was measurably worse. The signal dropped so low at one point that it disconnected altogether, something that has never happened whilst acively using wi-fi.

Back to the drawing board I guess.
