So what's the difference between the Libra and the Blade?

As per the Topic Title, I cant seem to see any difference, apart from the a 5MP camera and the pre-installed OS (2.3.4 vs 2.1)

Am I missing something?

ZTE Blade is 2.1 Eclair platform aka as Gen1 on this forum, so blade baseband, base address etc

ZTE Libra is the 2.2 Froyo platform and above, also known as Gen2 on this forum, Gen2 is a complete misnomer as is changing the name to Libra but it allows ZTE to sell more phones, especially ones with 5MP Cameras later this year sim free

I would propose changing the gen 1 to gen2 stuff to upgrade your blade to a libra and renaming all gen2 roms libra and gen1 as blade

Well that wouldn't be accurate - Blades all over Europe are sold with android 2.2 now with a Gen2 firmware and they are still called the ZTE Blade.

I agree with you hedgepigdaniel, which is why this forum now has two names not just one
