Guest BrokenInfinity Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 I'm having some trouble with my Vega, running the stock ROM but with this add on. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=931337 My issue is that the video and audio go out of sync, as if the picture is lagging behind the video. This happens with both videos played with the player and iPlayer so I'm not sure what is causing it but its very annoying. Any suggestions? Video playback was the main reason for buying the Vega and its not doing it very well at all!
Guest Jisonga Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 I am using flash player 10.1 the version advent recomend on my vega and 99% of videos play ok its only very long streaming content that plays up sometimes. I either pause video for a bit or jump forward a few seconds and its all back insync again. Jason

The only problem I have with iPlayer is that my internet connection is only 2MB/S so I can't stream HD videos. My setup is: Modded Stock ROM Corvus 5 + SP1 Flashplayer 10.3
Guest phil8715 Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 I always pause then resume that normally fixes it.
Guest Yogimax Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 (edited) The only problem I have with iPlayer is that my internet connection is only 2MB/S so I can't stream HD videos. My setup is: HD iPlayer doesn't work for me - just gives a picture every few seconds - possibly due to trying to stream HD over wireless G rather than N? My download to my router is 33Mb/sec so speed to it initially prior to wireless is not an issue Edited July 18, 2011 by Yogimax
Guest lesd Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 HD iPlayer doesn't work for me - just gives a picture every few seconds - possibly due to trying to stream HD over wireless G rather than N? My download to my router is 33Mb/sec so speed to it initially prior to wireless is not an issue Wireless G is 54MBits/S, which can deteriorate to 22 with two way traffic and error correction. But that's stll a lot more than the 3.5 needed for HD. So it's probably not your router. An easy check is; if your wifi connected PC can play iPlayer in HD, there's nothing wring with your router. There are two more threads about poor video, specifically on Corvus5, here and here which might be useful.
