Building one app only from CM7 source tree

Hi,

I'm currently experimenting with some layout stuff on CM7's LatinIME but I really wouldn't want to go through the building process of the whole rom each time I'd want to make a test build. Can somebody help me with building only one app from the source, LatinIME or other android stuff like framework for building one with and another without softkeys, etc..?
