Delete Duplicate Contacts and Enable Facebook Sync

Hi

I just upgraded my phone from Swedish Spring (Gen1) to Ginger Stir Fry but facing few issues. Appreciate if anyone could help.

1. Importing the contacts has created 3 identical entries, i there any app which could help in deleting duplicates. Tried Contact analyzer 2 but failed.12

2. The Facebook addition in "Account and Sync" doesnt work, similar to Swedish Spring. It returns to same window.

Open up your contacts > menu >display options > choose contacts to display and untick your phone contacts or sim contacts.

Found the solution after few searches.

1/. Take backup of your contacts and upload to Gmail Contacts. Then from options "Find and Merge Duplicates". On Phone, go to Manage Applications > Contacts Storage and Clear Data. Sync back contacts from Gmail.

2. For Facebook, there is seperate Facebook Installer provided in the thread. That worked
