Guest Blox Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Hey! I'm a bit clumsy and drop my phone a lot, luckily only onto things like carpet or a very small distance from the surface. But when I drop it, it reboots itself, no matter how big or small the fall or what it falls onto. I know I shouldn't drop it, but is this normal? :P Cheers!
Guest Mushroom_Lord Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Well, mine doesn't! :P Maybe your battery is a bit loose or something? Because if the battery is removed and replaced in a short amount of time the phone automagically reboots :P Does the case come off at all when you drop it? if not maybe try wedging some paper between the back cover and battery to stop it coming loose. I can't think of any other explanation :P
Guest shmizan Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 I just dropped mine 2 times in 2 days (a total of 4 times in 3 months though :P) and it never happened. it isn't normal. but if it functions normally when you DON'T drop it - nothing to worry about..
Guest Blox Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Yeah, i've noticed that when I take the cover on the battery isn't properly 'in' it's slot, slightly loose so maybe that's something to consider. And as far as i'm concerned, the phone works fine otherwise, so that's probably the problem :P thanks for your replies!
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Put a piece of tape or paper behind the battery :)
