Guest gavin08 Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Hi I was wondering on Android can you group Apps and Games together and put them in a file like the Iphone where you just group Apps together by holding onto the Apps. Thanks
Guest Snipperdag Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Hi I was wondering on Android can you group Apps and Games together and put them in a file like the Iphone where you just group Apps together by holding onto the Apps. Thanks That would be a launcher specific feature I'm guessing. I know I used to do that when I was running GO Launcher Ex (free from the market). Create a folder and drag the apps into it. :)
Guest winckler Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 (edited) Ifs its appdrawer related I dunno, but on the home screen you can make a new folder (long tap screen-folders-new folder) name it to whatever you want (apps games) and then drag shortcuts from the desktop in the folder. to rename the folder you tap it and up where is says folder(the title) tap long to rename it. hope it helps :) Edited July 16, 2011 by winckler
Guest tsddave Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 I would really recommend you look at Go launcher also, there are others that do this via folders like spb for example but imho Go launcher is just better allround.Go launcher also has a ton of extras made for it and has regular updates. The devs are super busy!
Guest shmizan Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 yes. long press and create a new folder.
Guest ShahinTehShiz Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 You should use Simi Folder, cant imagine my phone without it, plus it looks the ebst like the iPhone folders. I dont think it works with the app drawer, but works great on the homescreens. Market link: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.th.android.widget.SiMiFolder&hl=en
