Flashed Vegacomb just now (only just got my vega) and it just gives a black screen. I turn it on and it had a black screen for about 2 seconds, it flashed off and the just stays black. Any Ideas on how to stop this??

How long have you left the vega because theres at least 20 seconds when the screen is just black and then it goes on to the boot animation also did you flash the vega correctly? If it stays on the black screen for longer than 2 minutes reflash the modded stock rom from newbe5 and start again.

Hope this helps.

I couldn't get the drivers working properly so I did it without a computer...

Also I have left it for about 10 minutes

So how did you flash the modded stock rom then? I think this is where youve gone wrong try this link to get the drivers working link after you get the drivers working try again.

Ok but this will semi-brick the vega if you do it this way (you cant brick the vega) when you put the vega in recovery mode (2 secs back button, while holding that down, hold power on for 2 secs, let go after 2 secs release back) only sign that you are in recovery is that theres a blue light under the camera , does your computer recognise that something has connected to it?

I managed to get it back in by following a video that told me to turn it off, hold back for 6 seconds, power + back till it turned on and the release back then power. Then it ran some firmware to get to back to normal. I tried to put vegacomb on it again and the same thing happened. Any idea of what im doing wrong? =/

"Ran some firmware". What firmware?

Have you install the modded stock ROM as detailed in the Vegacomb instructions? It's mandatory. Once done, copy Vegacomb onto the SD Card (don't download it on your Vega, download on a PC and copy across). Then reboot into clockworkmod, wipe data, clear caches including the Dalvik cache then install Vegacomb.

PS. As you are new to the Vega, and I assume new to Android, Vegacomb may not be the best choice. Consider Corvus5 instead. Fast, stable and very few problems - and small ones at that.

without computer, you cann't do anything. have to get the drivers working.

First tyr to turn on your vega, until the lcd happen somthing(with light). then press the power key about 30s. connect the charger and connect to your computer and then press back key( don't release), then press power key. your computer should find vega( name is APX), then you install the driver

install vegacomb, must be via recovery. this is the reason you failure. on fastboot model, you cann't install. you have to flash one rom with recovery or after flash rom, then flash recovery. then install vegacomb via recovery.

i cant get my Vega to be recognised by my computer when I try to do the clockwork part in cmd. I have been following evilbobbins videos on YouTube so thas how I flashed it back to stock. I managed to flash corvus5 onto my Vega using his video which doesn't use a computer (although I can't find flash).
