Guest danz0l Posted July 17, 2011 Report Posted July 17, 2011 I have the free profiles version of setcpu and have corvus sp1 installed. I have set the on battery profile to 14000 Max 600 min but I don't have access to the scaling drop down. Does this mean the Rom doesn't support scaling ?

That is correct(ish) :) The Kernel has to have the governors built into it for SetCPU to then read those and apply them. As the Corvus ROM does not have them then a nul value is returned. As you know though that doesn't prevent you from using the clocking facility and thus set the range of frequencies used, for example, from 216mhz to 1400mhz. It is not that the ROM does not support scaling it just doesn't support the governors to override how that type of scaling is used.
