phone volume + general volume

hi everyone,

when i increase the phone volume when i start to give a call, i got no sound because I have to increase the volume generally in home screen. why?

that 's stupid, when i increase the volume, it should increase the volume in any software.

what can i do to remedy this problem??

Not sure what you mean exactly but, the thing on the homescreen controls vibration and the ringtone volume, In call Volume is probably under call settings or whatever.

Simple! Fix up the InCallScreen in the Phone package, found in CM7's source, packages/apps/Phone/src/com/android/phone/InCall.java.

The source is there if you want to fix that up :)

hi,

i am on GSF 2.3.4 with blue velvet,ROM2

there is definively something not working.

the sound set in the home screen has priority, thus when i try to set the sound during a call, if the sound in the homescreen is down, I have no sound during the call.

the call sound should have pritority for the entire phone and not the reverse.

is that clear?

And wait, you mean you cant change in call volume with the volume buttons when you are in call, right? Are you sure its not already at max volume?

no can not, in fact i have to leave the screen , go to home, increase volume with volume rock button, and then come back to the call.

if i press the volume + when i call I see the yellow bar all way up, but still no sound because the general sound is off and has priority on the entire system.

i would prefer to have one volume setting for the entire phone. or maybe i am doing something wrong??
