Guest lesd Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 (edited) Does anybody know how to delete a backup from CWM? Backups are held on the SD card in /mnt/sdcard/clockworkmod/backup You delete them as you would any file (long press on the filename and choose 'delete' from the pop up menu). Or else manage them in ROM Manager which allows you to delete or rename backups from its interface.

That is why I keep a copy of ROM manager on my Vega (and San Fran) as I can then rename the backup to something more meaningful. I assume it must regenerate the MD5 as it means that CWM works fine when needing to restore it. I have not found another more simplistic way of renaming a backup, which also allows it to be used.
