cant reply to posts on vega since forum update

Hi,

As the topic, says since the forum update replying to posts using my vega (on this forum) has been very hard. Sometimes it works and i can submit a reply but most of the time I cant get a cursor in the text box and the keyboard dosent come up. Both quick reply and full reply exibit the same problem. I know someone else has mentioned this in an unrelated thread so i am not the only one having this issue but I cant find the thread now and I dont know if it was answered.

Are many others having this problem since the update?

Are the forum admins aware of the problem?

I also dont like the appearance of the topics when i am scrolling using the touch screen. the topics blink epililepticly as I scroll up and down the page, annoying but I suppose its just my personal preferance not to have fits as I scroll.;).

P.S, running Corvus5 SP1 and dolphin browser but it happens on mirren and stock browsers too.

I also have had a few problems when trying to post to the site when using my Vega - I've given up sometimes. I type messages, and they just disappear. Sometimes clicking reply and then cant get cursor into box to type.

Everything ok with Win 7 laptop though

Unable to post from Vega, and fault conditions change day by day. Have to fire up the old PC.

3D bar effect on topics makes the screen flash as it scrolls .

Windows 7 + Google Chrome has difficulty laying the page out properly.

Click on 'My Settings' and disable Visual (RTE) Editor.

Don't forget to save your settings.

You might want to let Paul know in this thread...

for me, using Opera, every time that I press the return key to start a new line it then leaves an empty one - like above.

It seems to work with FF but Opera is my default browser and it did work fine prior to the update.

As yet I can't even reply to any post when browsed using my Vega, although I might need to try out a different browser but I'm quite happy with Dolphin as it suits my needs and works fine elsewhere.

Excellent. Works fine with visual editor disabled.

I had to use my pc to change the setting as it wouldn't let me save it on my vega.
