Guest The Soup Thief Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 Oh Lordy! This looks fun! Nice work - do you have an md5 for this? Or any other info on the Libra from which it was ported? (which market, release etc) Cheers Elitemovil :)
Guest karololszak Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 This ROM I believe evolved from this:which evolved from burtslam's leaked gingerbread ROM... So it's like (could be like) Ginger Stir Fry, but made by someone else ;]
Guest sirarisma Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 Great one! You can find it on htcmania too.
Guest LexS007 Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 This ROM I believe evolved from this: which evolved from burtslam's leaked gingerbread ROM... So it's like (could be like) Ginger Stir Fry, but made by someone else ;] I believe so too. Because there isn't still officially firmware 2.3.4 for ZTE Libra. And if this is official 2.3.4 rom that he has long appeared to be hiapk.
Guest tsddave Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 Anyone flashed this? A mini review please!
Guest ThermalDroid Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 All icons are customised kind of like a sense ROM pretty much Ginger stir fry but reskinned. Also some force quits with random apps that were included.
Guest Paluszek20 Posted July 18, 2011 Report Posted July 18, 2011 (edited) I was trying to install it but unsuccesfull, have 1GB ext3 part and do facroty reset, and phone says on andoid screen Edited July 18, 2011 by Paluszek20
Guest evilbrain Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) 512MB ext3 or ext4 necessary partition in the SD Excuse me for ultra noob questions but what is ext3 or ext4 partition and do i need it if i can flash any other rom? I want to try this rom but without screwing my phone, so i don't want to risk. Edited July 19, 2011 by evilbrain
Guest xtasy Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 I have flashed this ROM to OLED ZTE Blade yesterday. It works really good so far: - Battery seems to be very good - Wifi works fine - GPS works fine - Has a new Market version (different look) Issues: - A2SDGUI which came with the ROM crashes.
Guest xtasy Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 I'm also not sure what ext3 and ext4 I have, but I have successfully flashed the ROM to GEN2 converted phone (converted with CM7 install). Excuse me for ultra noob questions but what is ext3 or ext4 partition and do i need it if i can flash any other rom? I want to try this rom but without screwing my phone, so i don't want to risk.
Guest evilbrain Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 I'm also not sure what ext3 and ext4 I have, but I have successfully flashed the ROM to GEN2 converted phone (converted with CM7 install). So you just wiped the data and everything as usual and flashed the rom?
Guest supermies123 Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 I can't update Launcher Pro from the market. Maybe because it's included in this rom?
Guest Malfis Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 Any diference between Ginger Stir Fry and this one?
Guest xtasy Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) Yes, exactly. So you just wiped the data and everything as usual and flashed the rom? Talking about differences from Ginger Stir fry, one very important, battery life is much better (at least for me). Edited July 19, 2011 by xtasy
Guest will8578 Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 this is actually a very nice rom, nicely themed and stuff, just as good as any other rom
Guest supermies123 Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 I installed this ROM. Sometimes when I call to someone they say that they can't hear my voice very well like the signal would be bad or something in places where normally would be very good signal. I don't know if it's rom related issue or something else... Other than that, this is very good rom. Nice colouring on settings and on notification bar =) Like it!
Guest Undefined_ID Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 I was trying to install it but unsuccesfull, have 1GB ext3 part and do facroty reset, and phone says on andoid screen It seems that this ROM requires a system partition greater than 140MB. Can anyone confirm this?
Guest ThermalDroid Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 It contains WAREZ! So don't download?
Guest Hjanos Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 It seems that this ROM requires a system partition greater than 140MB. Can anyone confirm this? [/quote] Delete some apps from system/app in the zip and flash again.
Guest finbaar Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 It contains WAREZ! So don't download? Thanks for the warning, I wouldn't want to do that. No way. Definitely not. Negative.
Guest k0zmic Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 It contains WAREZ! So don't download? What are the Warez, QuickOffice?
Guest Elitemovil Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 Thanks for the warning, I wouldn't want to do that. No way. Definitely not. Negative. Warezz????? What warez??? Thanks!
