cm7 music app lockscreen controls

I used to have cm7 installed and i really like the lock screen widget and the option to change songs using the volume keys.

i tried installing the cm7 music apk on a different gingerbread rom i'm using and it's working, but without the lock screen controls.

i've found different music apps with lock screen widgets (winamp, poweramp) but none has the changing songs with volume keys option, and none is totally comaptible with other apps like the stock and cm7 player (pausing while using voice search for example...)

any idea?

I've since installed PowerAmp from the Market which I find brilliant in day to day use. It has a lock screen widget and I can use the volume keys to transition back and forth through my tracks.

It also has an equaliser and other music enhancements.

Maybe it's a specific CM7 enhancement then.

Lockscreen controls in Cm7 have nothing to do with the music player itself, nor does the volume track skip. It works with any player on Cm7 - and is therefore CM7 specific.

As I mentioned above, the lock screen controls in CM7 using the default music player don't work for me at all.
