Which Blade type? Did you "ask MR Pigfish first? Sounds like you were trying the TPT method but can you cofirm which one? Describe what you did and some one will know how to fix, hopefully.
Guest hugobosslives Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) describe what you did better..... i am guessing you didn't upgrade to gen2? were you gen1 before? if so, head over to wbaw's tpt thread. put the full rom/gen2 upgrade tpt on your sdcard. then turn on with menu and vol+ held if not, describe the steps you took and we'll help Edited July 19, 2011 by hugobosslives
Guest judev Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 (edited) I downloaded cm7 using rom manager and started installing it with rom manager. It did few things then it went to the green android dude and it didnt disappear after 15 minutes then i pulled out the battery and turned it on, still green android dude i pulled out the battery again after 10 minutes and now there wont happen anything when i try to turn it on Edited July 19, 2011 by judev
Guest hugobosslives Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 you didn't answer the whole question! haha was it gen1? if it was, (did it come with 2.1?) then you need to first upgrade to gen2 to run a rom which uses a gen2 boot layout. as i sed above, tpt it to gen2. and then it will work (stickied post in roms section by wbaw)
Guest hugobosslives Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 you sure? what rom where you running before? does it enter clockwork? (vol- and power)
Guest judev Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 I was running stock android 2.2 and it doesnt enter clockwork
Guest judev Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 YEAh it went to clockwork when i pressed vol down + power long
Guest judev Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 When i highlight “backup and restore” or any other option and press home or power button it just goes to this and nothing happens :(
Guest judev Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 Problem solved I was pressing menu instead of home
Guest judev Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 I just had to restore in clockwork, Im glad i made a backup :) No more custom roms :D

Guest hugobosslives Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 There is a good chance you pulled the battery too soon, so in future leave it longer. doubt it. but possible. longest i've had is about 10mins on startup (for an actual boot) tho i always leave it 25mins just to be on the safe side when it does badword up occasionly. but when you flash so many roms and experiment with them, its likely you screw up occasionly (by not checking md5's or by screwing up a complile etc) you probs had a corrupt download. you check the md5s? don't give up on custom roms! you've proved the point that anything done through clockwork is recoverable. the benefits out weigh the fact that you messed up once.....
Guest judev Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 This was my first time flashing a rom so im a total noob Its a lot harder than flashing a xbox 360
Guest hugobosslives Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 actually i think it can be much easier if you know what to do. it is possible to flash a blade (with what ever rom you want and clockwork) just by putting a tpt image on your sdcard and holding menu and vol+. everything is done for you.
Guest unrandomsam Posted July 20, 2011 Report Posted July 20, 2011 use the v880 tool (plug in with both volume buttons pressed (get you into download mode) flash stock recovery then fix with windows flasher.
