Guest sevor Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 Hi, I am using a ZTE blade with a CM 7 TMT image. how can I replace my current 2GB sd card with a bigger card - without losing data or need of reinstalling all apps. I assume that I can't simply use Windows to copy everything to the new card, can I? Thanks for your help, Sebastian

Thanks for your help, Sebastian You can use a bigger card but there is a limit though am using 8GB card (Kingston class 4) no problem. The limit may be 32GB but not sure on this. You just need to format card to FAT32 format and when copying files from old SD card ensure you show hidden files (folder options > show hidden files) and then ctrl A and ctrl C to copy then paste to new card for instance.
Guest alex_slx Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 My new bigger micro SD card will arrive in days, thinking about how to replace the original 2G one safely without data loss or big work. Thank you for your advice, geezerone
