Go into settings, accounts and sync. Click on your google account, then press remove account, when you now try and access the market it will make you re enter your account :)

Guest Pully Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 A factory reset won't delete the custom rom if that's what your worried about.
Guest k0zmic Posted July 19, 2011 Report Posted July 19, 2011 If you're selling on eBay I'd just do a full wipe, install the custom ROM again (best to do a 2.3 one and unlock your phone to get the best price) and then mount as USB Storage and delete any files off the SD Card.
Guest The Soup Thief Posted July 22, 2011 Report Posted July 22, 2011 Another market related question Android market recognises my blade as being a 2.1 device, so doesn't let me download apps for 2.2 or 2.3 even though I'm running cm7 (2.3.4) How can I update market account? Can't find any way of doing it Thanks

If not usually you just have to wait, at least in my experience.

I'll try this a little later and report back, but I suspect that's not the problem as I've cleared the whole phone out (doing full wipes, Rom installs, TPTs and fresh installs of google apps etc) dozens of times since I last had a sniff of eclair in Novemberish last year The problem seems to be at the Google market end, where my account has recognised my phone as a ZTE blade, and (I assume) that a blade has 2.1 I could be wrong with this and will report back when I've done as you suggested
