I've attempted to download a few apps from the android market website, and my vega R8 listed does not allow me to download. The android market APP filters the only compatible apps, and are in my opinion very basic.

The android market APP filters the only compatible apps, and are in my opinion very basic. I assume you are on Modaco R8 Rom. If so I am too and have not had issues with downloading anything from the market whether it be free or paid!?! What exactly does it say when you try to search/download?
