Guest Unipete Posted July 22, 2011 Report Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) OK start from the beginning. Was this a brand new Vega? If so, what stock rom was on it? If not, what rom was installed previously? What steps did you take to install R8? (what usb drivers did you install on your pooter)? Are you using a PC or Mac? and if so, what OS are you using? You say the device won't load, (I assume you mean boot). I've not heard of ' vegafixer' but other posters probably have. Edit: If you need to reinstall the stock rom and start again go to http://www.myadventvega.co.uk/ and download the instructions for flashing the stock rom and the software as well. Guest lesd Posted July 22, 2011 Report Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) - exec '/system/bin/sh' failed: No such file or directory (2) Thanks in advance for any help I may get I think the error you're getting is telling you that the stock ROM is missing a file. ie the stock ROM is corrupt. I would: Make sure the battery is fully charged. Reinstall the stock ROM or modded stock ROM with the power supply connected. Check it works, and that the sh file is were it should be, then try to indtall R8 again. Edited July 22, 2011 by lesd
