android market, or lack of, on the advent vega, help

I have recently purchased the advent vega ablbd was informed that it is possible to get the android market on it although it is hard. I have the android pit already. I webt online to the android market and created an account via google. Every time i go on manage my account it reads along the lines of no android device registered registered with this account. I have read various posts about roms etc, but this means noting to me, can someo ne please supply a step by step guide or direct download link to solve this? Many thanks!

If you are on the ROM which was issued with the Vega (which it sounds like you are) it would be best if you followed the instructions here to load the Modaco ROM which includes the Android Market app and lots of other good things. If you get stuck come back to us and explain what step you have got up to and we will help. If you want to get the best out of your Vega you will need to get hands-on and a little technical but don't worry you can't break it as there's always a way out. ;)

Either that or use the market addon over on the xda developers forum website.

This will allow you to keep the standard advent rom.

But got to say a quick read around this forum to find out how to update your rom will really unlock your vega mate.
