Guest trevor432990 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Hmm wonder if the new Market will appear as an update within the 'My Apps' list eventually or if it can only be updated by users installing a new .apk for it? <_<

At present, you can't access the books or film part of the market, because Google hasn't sorted out the legal stuff for the UK yet. The market app will be updated then.
Guest andrew531 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 As I am typing this question I know that its a simple answer so apologies ha ha ! How do you 'update' it rather than install it as instructed below. I have heard that the new market is a bit buggy and want to be able to roll it back if this happens. I have download the apk from the link and have found it in downloads. I click on the file but the only option is to install. Shall I just go ahead as it states it will replace my older version. thanks for any help

If you find it buggy (as I did) go to your applications menu, manage applications and select Market. Then just click the button to uninstall updates.
