Guest rose840 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 (edited) There seems to be 2 vesions of thr vega case at pcworld... i have purchased one its made of thicker leather and has a flap of leather that tucks under the vega to stop it slipping out... it also has an attatchable ribbon that holds it in a triangle position when upright... there is a piece of elastic you can pull round the front and over the vega to hold the lid shut. Steve Edit... tried to.remove question mark from post.. Edited July 25, 2011 by rose840

Steve Hi Steve ... thanks for sharing this but did you have a question or was this just to inform us of a new accessory?
Guest rose840 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 Just wanted clarification if anyone else had noticed the new one really... the question mark is a little confusing lol
Guest worto03 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 nice - sounds like an upgrade to the 1st one, how much was it? The first one was discounted to £20 from £30 pretty much as soon as it was released - don't know how long the £10 off voucher worked for though.
Guest rose840 Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 I paid 25... dont tell thr wife she will have a hissy fit lol
Guest twe Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 Have you tried the cheaper faux ones off the bay? £11ish? empted to try that with the stand built in....
Guest neblap Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 Have you tried the cheaper faux ones off the bay? £11ish? empted to try that with the stand built in.... I have just had one delivered, this one Build quality seems pretty good for the price. Some of the cut-outs do not quite match up, charging port and headphone socket. They are only slightly out so should not be a major problem to sort. The tablet is prevented from falling out of the top by means of a flap that is held in place with Velcro. The front cover of the case is held in place by a small magnet. The "built in stand" consists of a flap at the back which the front cover slots behind to hold in place. When used the tablet can be used in a high vertical position for watching films etc, or a low position for typing. Not sure how long the flap will last, but for the price you cannot expect it to last forever. The screen protector that came with it covers only the viewing area and not the entire front of the Vega, which I prefer. It was easier to put on than the screen protector I have on my phone, the larger size probably made this easier to handle. The screen protector seems less prone to fingermarks, but they do still show. The stylus that came with it is OK to use for clicking, but that's about all it is good for, so pretty much worthless. I actually paid £11.79, so am happy with it.
