Pls help. WiFi stopped working

Hi all

I've just got my Vega and flashed this ROM (v1.7). Everything including WiFi worked very well after the first boot until I restarted the tablet, WiFi then stopped working. I switched it off a couple of times,but no luck. I even tried reinstalling this ROM and other ROM (like r8, corvus5) again but still WiFi always show scanning without being able to find any AP.

Any suggestion please ? Thanks in advance

Have you tried it on any other AP's? Also, it may be worth fiddling around with your router a little. I know its not the most secure, but I use WEP because its never failed to connect to a device unlike WPA.

I get the same thing occasionally with my BT Home Hub 3. The fix which sometimes (not always) works is to switch off WiFi on the Vega, restart the router and let things settle down, and then turn on Wifi on my Vega. Doing this a couple of times (including rebooting the Vega) will eventually allow reconnection. B)

PITA but only happens every few weeks. :)

Once you get it going again I'd recommend giving the Vega a static IP address from your router admin settings as this tends to resolve a lot of problems on Wi-fi.

it's really strange i got it fixed last nite but after a reboot it went back to scanning forever... i guess i have to give up this fantastic rom for now, such a pity

Update:it turned out that there was a problem with the WiFi module. They took 5 days to repair it and then sent back to me. Although the SD card was missing , WiFi works fine now.
