Guest azeemfazal Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 Hi Guys, I want to know that which version of Ginger Stir Fry is most stable for ZTE Blade/OSF Gen 1 and its simple and step by step procedure to install ROM on my ZTE Blade and from where I can download this ROM? My 2nd question is I watched a video on install Cyanogenmod 7 through ROM Manager, so is there any simple procedure to install GSF on ZTE Blade ? Thanks in Advance
Guest ShahinTehShiz Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 Use this thread: And navigate to where it says: " Gen1 to Gen2 All-in-one custom rom upgrade TPTs These are all in one rom + gen2 radio firmware + clockworkmod installs for 'Gen1' ZTE Blades & Orange San Franciscos which were sold with Android 2.1 (Eclair). They will upgrade your phone to Gen2 radio firmware, install the rom & the latest ClockworkMod all in one step, even on unrooted phones. To install: Unzip the file to the root of your sdcard, it will create an 'image' folder. Check the integrity of the files using AFV (available from android market) to find the nandroid.md5 file in the image directory, then long press on it & verify nandroid backup. Turn off your phone, leave it for at least 30 seconds, then hold menu & volume + when you power it on. You should see some green text (may be just a blank screen) then it should reboot & you should see a big android while it is performing it's first boot (this will take a while). Once it has successfully started up don't forget to delete the image folder on your sd card, to prevent any accidents. Guest angstmann Posted September 3, 2011 Report Posted September 3, 2011 i use b21 no problems at all I started out with B19 and it was great, but I upgraded to B21, just because, well, that's the way I roll! However, I had wifi problems with B21 and I didn't like the new market app, so I downgraded back to B19, and its been stable ever since.
Guest matjusss Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 the file was deleted .where i can get this gsf
Guest dirlan2001 Posted September 24, 2011 Report Posted September 24, 2011 the file was deleted .where i can get this gsf In the GSF -thread, wbaw does not keep older versions, you'll have to do it with the latest (b26) and eventually update the kernel from Burstlam... Like I do BTW :D and it's stable as rock in rock-solid Dirk
Guest manit40 Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 GSF (B26) and :D and it's stable as rock in rock-solid gps ok !!!!!!!!!!!
Guest jonmac73 Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 this question doesn't seem to go down well in main GSF thread - developer doesn't like people using old releases for piracy (using old leaked kernel). Anyway personal experience of B14, B19 and now B22 has been very good. Everything has worked straight out of the box, themes I wanted from Themes thread have all worked fine, battery is good etc. So until something else comes along as stable I will stick with B22. Search thread for files, or try filesonic for filename.
