can any1 plz tel me da easies way to upgrade my orange san francisco which is on android 2.1.

Easiest way is using TPT, basically download one file onto sdcard, extract, reboot phone holding certain buttons, wait for completion.

This page has the file to download. Go to the "gen1 to gen2 custom all-in-one upgrade tpt" section, choose between the one of the two roms, download onto sdcard and follow the instructions on that page.
