Guest sam111 Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 Hi everyone, i hope you are all well. I am having an issue with my zte blade, it gets extremely hot. I have gone into app and it says that the temperature is 55 degrees celsius. It is extremely hot and nearly is burning my ear and is totally unusable. It gets hot after using skype or other VOIP apps, if i speak via VOIP via my wifi connection for only 15 Minutes.... it gets hot extremely quickly. It also is very hot straight after it has been charged to 100% by my UK mains Charger. What do you think could be the problem? Could it be the battery is faulty or the actual phone is not functioning how it should. I think it is ok when it is idle and has minimal applications running BUT as soon as you watch a youtube video or use voip it gets very very hot So can anyone on the forum give me any advice as i really think that since i changed from the stock Orange UK rom to RSL55 the phone has started behaving this way and the battery is discharging quickly as well Anyway i hope someone can give me advice on how i can fix this Many Thanks Sam

Guest sam111 Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 No i don't think i do..... i do have a few apps installed called vm heap tool and cpu control....... could these be causing the issues? If they could be should i uninstall them or can you advise what settings these should be at in terms of mhz maximums? Is there anything else that could cause this problem? Let me know Cheers Sam Do you use overclocking?
Guest Moeen Mahboob Posted July 30, 2011 Report Posted July 30, 2011 Mine Blade also gets hot in 50ish, when I am recharging it or playing a game. The upper part of the body is affected
Guest ShahinTehShiz Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 Yup, the Blade does get hot when playing games or using Wi-fi non-stop, just what it does, mine used to do this with swedish spring and then it would reboot, but hasn't done this once in GingerStirFry (credits to wbaw)
