MMS settings for DELL Streak (STREAKDROID)

Dear all,

After a bit of push and pull on this ISSUE- I managed to make the SOFTBANK 3G network work on the DELL streakdroid OS installed Version 1.7.0 and 1.8.0 amd 1.9.0 and 2.0 the latest edition by dave brother.

All works except the MMS module. I tried with some other avaliable options as the below settings. ( I am using a softbank iPHONE4 black micro sim)

With the below APN settings SOFTBANK iPHONE4 Black sim---- 3G works fine.

• Name: smilemms
• APN: smile.world
• User: dna1trop
• Password: so2t3k3m2a
• MMSC: http://mms/
• MMS Proxy: smilemms.softbank.ne.jp
• MMS Port: 8080
• MCC: 440
• MNC: 20
• APN Type: default,supl,mms (none seems also OK)

Any one who has done the work around on a DELL streak MMS part.

Somehow it does not work yet. May be I am missing something.

Installed OS with rooting process on STREAKDROID 1.7.0 , 1.8.0 , 1.9.0 and 2.0

Any info on the MMs settings for STREAKDROID will be appreciated.

if you ask in the Dell Streak 5 area, i would think one of the cats in there should know
