Newer site make my browser feel clunky

Has anybody else noticed that the newer revamped (a few weeks ago) site has made their browser clunky ?

I'm using firefox and a half way decent PC (E6600 running at 3Ghz 4Gig Ram 2 1Tb Samsung HD's in Raid)

It's just every time I open a Modaco page the bowser seems to take a while longer to load other tabs now. If I close the modaco page then the browser seems to come back to life.
