HDMI output for apps as opposed to video only

Hello all

I am wanting to use apps like citrix and email and browser via the HDMI on the vega but when attaching to a lcd monitor or tv the output is pixelated.

I have searched the forum and tested a couple of the suggestions such as changing the lcd density but that still doesnt resolve my issue

I found an app called hdmi mirror but that is not compatible with the advent, I have tried stock rom, cm7 and vegacomb and all are pixelated via hdmi.

I am looking at android screencast now but there reported refresh rate is probably not going to solve my problem.

Any help here is appreciated.

That thread details how to change the reolution of the HDMI output.

Depending upon your TV capabilities you might find that you can set a resolution that is not so pixelated - or even not pixelated at all.

Post #4 in that thread details how you can disable the Vega screen and display HDMI output only.

Not something you asked but it might be useful if you fix the pixelated image.

Before making any changes to your system i'd recommend backing up your Vega with ClockworkMod.
