You can download the swedish spring rom directly from your phone, saving it onto your sdcard. The file is about 100mb so make sure you're using wifi or have an unlimited data plan. The guide is describing a long-winded method, downloading the rom onto pc, transferring rom file from pc to phone. Alternatively download on your pc, transfer to phone sdcard using bluetooth (long process as bluetooth is slow).
Guest ColdEmbrace Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 I just plugged my phone in, no need for drivers just to transfer files direct to SD Card

Guest flshg Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 (edited) ok so i download the froyo file from the link in the sight. then turn my phone on and connect to the usb lead to my pc but where do i put the file on my fone. thats the bit im stuck with, whats the root of the file lol Putting the froyo rom file on the root of the sdcard just means that it isnt in any other folders, its right at the 'beginning' of the sdcard storage. However, it doesnt actually matter, just as long as you remember where you put it and can navigate to it in clockworkmod. Putting it on the root just makes it easier to find. You just paste the ROM you downloaded (no need to unzip) into this main folder along side the other files and folders.
