USB Switcher Not Working (r6)

Hi,

I've been running the MoDaCo custom ROM with PP6 on Android 2.2 for some months now with no probs and have updated market apps (nothing that interacts with system settings) as and when they've appeared.

Now for some reason in Settings/About I don't get any notification of what USB mode the device is in. I've tried rebooting and selecting Host Mode so that I can use my USB stick. It reboots but don't get what I used to.

Any ideas?

As there were no takers I decided to upgrade to r8 and all seems well.
