Guest Shizostereo Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 I'm really sorry for posting this topic, but i couldn'd find the topic about the easyest and the the most safe way of installing CyanogenMode Green. I need a very detailed manual, because i'm really afraid of killing my new phone. Thanks a lot for any useful links and advises, i'd appreciate any help! Thank U! P.S. Attaching guide for GEN2 Blades to the top of the thread would be helpful, i think
Guest wrtease Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 IF YOUR GEN2 THEN JUST READ THE FORUM TOPICS STRAIGHT FORWARD. always backup your mobile first in clockwork and pc .make a folder in your pc and copy everything to it from your sdcard. if your gen2 then just wipe factory, wipe cache, go to advanced then wipe dalvik . then install your rom.remember to use tpt method to goto gen2 .its safe. gen1 roms are okay but development is now going to be gen2 from most mods.good luck .
Guest k0zmic Posted August 4, 2011 Report Posted August 4, 2011 (edited) If you are Gen 1 then follow this: http://android.modac...n2-tpt-upgrade/ See the last page if you don't understand the guide on the first post. If you want the CM7 Green ROM then you'll need to also follow the steps below. If you are already Gen 2 follow the instructions below. Turn off your phone and take out the battery. Unplug the phone from the PC / charger. Replace the battery and turn the phone back on with 'volume down' held. The device will go to a ClockworkMod Recovery menu screen. If you want to make a complete backup of your entire phone : use the clockwork option backup - this will put a FULL backup of your device onto the SDCard (in a directory called clockwork)Use Volume Up / Down to move between optionsUse Home key to select an optionUse Back key to go backChoose the 5th item "install zip fom sdcard" Choose the 2nd item "choose zip from sdcard" Choose the file "CMGreenV5(or whatever it's called).zip" Choose the various yes options When complete use the back button to get back to the main menu Edited August 4, 2011 by k0zmic
