By default, Outlook Express deletes emails when it reads them from the server. So if you send an emsil to yourself, then check it's there with Outlook Express, you've deleted it from the server.

Just send it, then turn your PC off, and check with your Vega. The email client in Corvus 5 doesn't keep a copy, either, so mail will only show up while it's on the server.

Alternatively, set your email to autoforward to GMail - then you have the option of deleting when you want to.

Which browser are you using, and is the user agent on it (probably in advanced settings) set to "Desktop"?

Okay got it !! un installed flash 10.3 and re-installed and BINGO !!!

okay couple more whilst I am at it !!

1/ how do I select for file transfer when hooking up the vega to the pc ?? remember switching this when Simonta was installing Corvus 5 and belive there are three options when hooked up to pc via usb ?? as I say all I want to do is hook up to transfer music / pictures etc.

2/ is there anything important on the micro sd card off the vega relating to required operating software ?? is there anything to stop me using a bigger card or would I have to transfer everything over to this new card ??

On the default Corvus 5 browser, it's More>Settings>Enable Plug Ins (Always On).

But I don't think that's your problem. Both the BBC Iplayer app and the player on the BBC website work for me. Are you using the flashplayer from Android market?

You might want to take a look at Android Sync Manager WiFi on the Market. There are two parts, an App for the Vega and a small program for the PC. Once loaded, you can transfer files over WiFi. I haven't used the USB cable at all since finding it, even to transfer new ROM's onto the card.

If you have installed any Apps, there might be some bits and pieces on the card, but if you are going to start again from scratch, you can safely just change the card. I changed mine up to a 32GB when I first got the Vega and put the 4GB away safe in case I had to revert / return for repair,

1 Ensure the Vega is in USB slave mode by switching it OFF then ON. connect the USB to your PC and press the button that appears on the screen. The SD card appears on the PC as a removable drive. There are alternative methods, such as Dave's suggestion. I use pogoplug which turns your PC into a file server. The Pro version (paid) allows you to stream video from your PC. There's probably a free app that lets you do that.

2. My SD card is full of stuff put on by apps, but if you want to change cards, copy everything to your PC, swap cards and copy back.
