Guest Jetba Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 I have traded my blade to huawei x5. The reason to it was, that my blade was in warranty 4 times in row. They couldn't fix the problem(Didn't get signal). I was happier wih blade because: Felt faster; Easier to change roms; I liked more about those plastic buttons and So easy to theme and change roms. 3 times in warranty they didn't even do anything, and they told that it worked perfectly. Fourth time when it was there i even sent my sim there, and they didn't even test it(they didn't have pin to it :P) Bye. I enjoyed CM7 and GSF.
Guest deksman2 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Lol... I will be the first to admit that while the Blade does have it's own quirks (mine seems to work fine since the day I got it with the exception of a minor fault or two that popped up rarely and got fixed with a simple reset)... but I think you could have gotten yourself an even better phone for the same price tag. It's not the Skate, but another one that has 800Mhz cpu (build quality is also better). I just can't remember it's name. It was mentioned here a couple of times though.
Guest Jetba Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 X5 was free for me. It was used but who cares? Still, atm i think blade was better than this weihua.
Guest Steep Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 I came to the Blade from a SE X8 for exactly the same reason, the X8 (two of them) had a terrible time keeping the signal, never had a moments bother with the Blade though, luck of the draw I suppose
Guest Sborovm Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Some old SIM cards (4 years or older) could cause problems with mobile signal in new devices. If you have such an old SIM, go to your mobile operator and ask for SIM replacement. It is free. My girlfriend has this problem with SE X8. It could not reconnect to operator after loosing the signal in underground. And now it is ok.
Guest Jetba Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Problem wasn't in sim. i tried 5 different sim, from 2 different operators.
