Poor Audio Output in ZTE Blade (a.k.a Dell XCD35)

Heyy all,

This is my first post here. I have been a silent watcher for quite some time now. I really enjoy all these roms (CM, GSF, SS etc), thanks to all the developers for making my first android purchase worth :D.

coming to the problem, I have a dell xcd35 (as it is sold in India) and everything works fine (currently using CM 0.7.3). the problem is that the quality of the earphones provided is extremely poor :(. I mean I have never heard this much poor quality in my life. Also, if I try my other headphones/earphones, they also sound very poor. I am a huge music listener and this thing really disspointed me. I tried many earphones, but i guess the audio output of this phone is very poor. I have tried all kinds of equalizers available (also the DSP), but my Nokia 5233 (earlier phone) sounded sooo much better.

Its a humble request to all to please try to resolve this problem, and all others who are facing this problem may comment down.

Not sure exactly what's causing the poor audio, have you checked whether it's any better in another ROM e.g. Ginger Stir Fry or one of the latest CM nightlies e.g. N152?

it doesn't matter what ROM i use. the quality is the same. Have checked it many times. I guess I am the only one having this problem :(

And yeahh.. poor audio output doesn't mean some disturbance or something. Its just bad music output with pathetic bass and treble.

For my DELL XCD35 also, the same problem is being noted. I had contacted customer case regarding this and the other hardware piece is also having the same problem. Not only ear phone but also for the phone speaker also.

Thank GOD..!!! I thought i was the only one having this problem. Will surely post here if something good comes up for our phone. :)
