Can Liquid Metal ROMs be installed on Liquid E?

Hi all. I've had my Liquid E for about a year now, and tried out a couple of ROMs. I used the LCR for a while, and then updated to some 2.2 ROM that I'm pretty sure came from the Acer website. However, after a while my phone got bricked; some hardware malfunction. It just came back from being fixed yesterday, and I'm trying to find out how I can get my hands on that ROM or something similar. After a bit of research, I found out that what I really want is the Breeze UI. After a bit more research, I found out that that's a Liquid Metal thing.

My questions are the following:

1) Is it possible to install a Liquid Metal ROM on Liquid E hardware? (I'm a fan of t&l, and there's a t&l 2.2 ROM with Breeze for Liquid Metal) And if not, how can I get Breeze UI on my Liquid E?

2) Is it possible that I installed a Metal ROM before, and that's what bricked my phone?

Thanks in advance. I'm loving this board; there's alot of great info and fantastic ROMs. I've been searching all over the Interwebs trying to find an answer to my question with no luck.

Forgot to try to install original metal bin on your liquid, is the best way for kill your phone. Here on the forum you can find liquid metal rom from gnufabio, a merge between liquid and metal, try this.
