Bonjour/Zeroconf don't work

Ok it's been months (really back in Nov/Dec last year etc) I was reading this forum to install custom ROMs for my Orange San Francisco.

I still have the same ROM I had back then. Think it's Jap Jellyfish 7. (Is there anything better than that now?)

Anyway what I've noticed is ZeroConf Browser from the Market can't discover any services on my Mac, and I've read it's because certain units are filtering multicast packets. I'm assuming this is a ROM thing.

Anyway to fix this or are there any recent ROMs known to work with ZeroConf ?

Jap Jelyfish 7 is pretty old.

You could install Swedish Spring 5 if you want a 2.2 rom.

Or you could install a 2.3 rom like cm7 or GSF.

I'm almost sure this will solve your problem with zeroconf.
