Guest mmick Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 (edited) I have just tried on LiquidNext (Android 2.3.5) the new Skype version: Skype v2.1.0.46 v08 and it works very very very well with video. I tried (over wifi) LIQUID <-> PC and impecable! NOTE: you have to enable one option about dark screen on the "advanced settings". Of course our beloved Liquid only has one camera, so you can´t see the other person while she sees you, but it´s excelent you can do video to show yourselve or any other thing (like stuff at work, your new apartment, your baby, etc) Another thing that can be done is a mirror so you see the LCD thru the mirror (and the other person...) and the other person sees you :) Issues: - sizes above QVGA only do (digital) zooming) doesn´t increase quality - no focus/auto focus. The image is not well focused (though it is more than enough, IMO, to do calls Phone <-> PC Other than that I can´t complain :) Edited August 7, 2011 by mmick

But do you start a video-chat using your liquid with skype or using your pc and your liquid as a webcam? btw is the audio working? I mean, can you speak with the other person?
