Please help! I want my warrenty back!

I bought Acer Liquid at 18/8/2010, and now the warrenty is going to end and the keys are not functioning quite well, so I flashed the HK Android 2.1 version for Acer Liquid (Acer_LiquidE_1.100.71_AAP_CSL) in order to take my phone to fix it. I found out that when I pressed the [Device Information] tab on setting, it shows [/proc/srs0 does not exist]. What should I do? How can I flash back to Acer's official 2.1?

I think that flashing original .bin (taken from the collection) whit acer tool will solve your problem

I flashed 1.6 then use Acer Tool (official) to upgrade to 2.1, but /proc/srs0 don't exists~~~

Try flashing the official 1.6 and then upgrade to 2.1 using the official upgrade not using the acer tool.

Flash .exe 2.100.07 rom, it'll restore your data, then any other 2.1.

Was there any error when you flash 2.2 bin for the first time ? On you computer you will find a c:\ACER_A1 directory containing xml files in it. Keep it in a safe place. These files could help you. First try to rename this directory (c:\ACER_A1bak) and try to reflash a bin file using ADT. I could solve and will restore original recovery (as it is included in the bin file)

As you have an officla bin on the phone, you can try to send it to warrenty. You have nothing to loose as your waranty is expiring.

Although it is late, a modified devinfo file is available here (need register as member to download):

The download includes a script to flash devinfo.bin back to original Non E version of Acer Liquid to recover the device information.
