Using Exchange AND Gmail Account simultaneously?

Hello guys (and maybe some girls ;)),

I'm using my Blade with CM7 (N156).

I've successfully configured my company's exchange-account, but right now I'm unable to configure my Gmail account also.

I flashed GAPPS (20110729) and when I try to open the "Google Mail" app, a message pops up but dissapears immediately (so fast that I can't read it) and the app closes again.

I get the error-message "Problems loading the widget" (in German) on the homescreen.

Another thing is, that I can't start the Market, because it needs a configured Gmail-account, which I can't set up :huh:

Do you have any ideas, how I can run both accounts on my Blade (and maybe seperate them from each other)?

Erm, I'm not sure what the problem is.

I have GMail and Hotmail (setup as Exchange for Push) on my phone and it's fine.

I just use the GMail app for GMail and the E-Mail app for Exchange, I set up by the 'Add Account' button in Accounts & Sync and then pressed 'Corporate'.

Maybe try a full wipe & reflash and maybe it will fix your problem?

I suggest you wipe properly and start again.

Flash the ROM, flash GAPPS then boot the phone.

Running Exchange email and Gmail should be fine.

Something's really wrong with my Blade (or with me) :blink:

I started CWR and wiped everything (except the SD-card, but the SD-ext).

Then I flashed the new CM7 (N156) and GAPPS (20110729) straight after it.

But when rebooting the phone, the setup-assistant won't start but the homescreen shows immediately with the message "Problem loading widget" at the top of the screen and one app is missing in the bottom-row. "Email" is placed on the first right screen (after scrolling) and the Market disappeared completely!

When entering the settings and "Accounts & sync" I'm only allowed to configure an Exchange account, no way to configure POP or IMAP :blink:

The MD5-checksum from the N156 seems correct, so what could be the problem? GAPPS?

It finally worked :lol:

It seems that my GAPPS-version was wrong - I used the 20110613 and it worked (except that Gmail disappeared).
