Softkeys when phone is horizontal on a table

Hi

Sorry if the title is a bit cryptic, but this has been bugging me since I bought my liquid and I never read anyone mention it, so I thought I'd ask.

Heres the thing: if my Liquid is on a table or other plain surface, the softkeys don't respond to my touch. I asked a couple of friends to try it and it doesn't work with them either, The keys only work if I'm holding the phone with my hand.

I don't really understand why, to me it looks like a really weird phenomenon. Is it normal? Is there a way to disable it?

what rom do u have?

if u have the liquidnext try to lower the softkey sensityvity from liquidnext parts

in other cases flash the official bin 4.002.14 and set the softkey sensitivity to high, then flash your favorite custom rom.

Honestly, this always happened to me, since the phone mounted the old 1.6 donut official rom... and I doubt it's the sensitiviy, even if I press them VERY hard they don't respond, it's like when the phone is horizontal the softkeys just get deactivated.... Anyway I'll try to up the sensitivity when I flash next time.
