Guest pulsem Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 Hi guys I have a question regarding Apps2SD and changing the microSD card. Currently my phone is on FLB-Mod 1 with a microSD card with capacity of 2GB and class 4 speed. Using app2sd I don't have a lot of free space on the card. I plan to buy a 8GB class 10 card and use that card instead of the old card. Can I switch them and how can I do that will minimum operations? Thanks.
Guest Daz555 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 If you have a card reader handy, boot from a linux live distro and partition the new card correctly. Again, in linux copy the data for each partition from the old card to the new card. Pop the new sd card into your phone and switch it on.
Guest badguy8230 Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Can I switch them and how can I do that will minimum operations? may be not so late. if all you installed application can fit into internal storage - you can try ANEGIN APP2SD GUI. it can (directly in phone) move app from sd-ext into phone, partition new card and after that move app again on card.
Guest DanWilson Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 NANDroid backup to old SD Card, partition new SD Card the same way you did before, copy backup, restore. If the recovery is up to date enough, you can advanced restore just the SD - Ext partition.
