Desktop shortcut to website ??

Is it possible to set a website as an icon on your desktop ie. want to get to sky.com without having to open my browser first , possible to do this direct from desktop either via mirren or explorer ??

Long press on your homescreen then press shortcut then bookmark.

Edit... On some launchers you can change icon maybe to a nice sky png or jpeg.
