Guest User_x4pro Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 hi there, i know i have another post asking wether this is compatible but i decided to go out a new E353 Huawei Dongle, after much tampering i cannot disable the cd mounting drive using putty and AT commands,does this dongle not work on corvus 5 as it runs on a HSPA+ network ? is there a workaround to get this to work ? i get my dongle to the flashing blue LED stage so its searching for networks but the APN file in corvus 5 isnt set up for this type of network ? Going away in 3 days and would appreciate all the help i can get ! :) thanks all I will attach my existing apns-conf.xml file from my vega to see if any 1 can update it maybe ? i did see in the corvus5 sp1 post that newbie 5 said pm him if you have any problems but i dont know how to do this :') if you need anyother information please ask me :) Hope you guys will help :) ! -Ok so maybe i cant attach the apns-conf.xml

This is the only change I needed to do in corvus5. Also download status bar 3g-2g widget from the market as it gives you more info about the modems connection status (signal level ect.). It also allows you to turn on the 3g in 2 clicks.
