Guest danieljtmcleod1989 Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 Read the pinned topic in the first page of this thread "How to install a custom rom...." If your still unsure, read the comments or try google. When I first bought my blade, google directed me here, and I've never looked back since.
Guest hugobosslives Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 for a temp root (have re-root every reboot) the easiest way is to search "universal androot" on google and then download, install and run that app. for a perm root, i recomend installing any custom rom (as theyre pretty much all rooted automatically) and you'll end up installing on soon anyway. either flash clockwork by fastboot or simular or if you want a quick root and installation with out doing anything do a tpt of gen2 upgrade and cyanogen rom.
Guest t0mm13b Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 Could try heading over to Skate forum and look for the "superboot" which injects the root into the system by using the adb fastboot option. :)
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 You can root your blade permanently by using the modified z4root here : Z4root topic
